A Picayune man is charged with fondling a resident of a personal care home, according to a press release from the office of Attorney General Jim Hood. Brandon Rowlings, 23, of 1801 Highway 11 South in Picayune, was arrested Friday afternoon by investigators with the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Attorney Generals Office and charged with two counts fondling of a vulnerable person.

Jerry Van Wagner of Bay St. Louis, was found guilty of aggravated DUI and kidnapping in Pearl River County Circuit Court on Tuesday. During court proceedings this week the District Attorneys office portrayed the events leading up to 27 year-old Crystal Brashers death as a kidnapping that ended with an accident caused by Jerry Van Wagner driving while intoxicated.
